Shell Vacation Points

I am looking at buying a unit at carriage hills in barrie ontario. I can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone. If the unit is a red week annual on the points system (4650) points are the points transferable or not?. Right now I own at the ridge and belong to shell with 5250 points per year. Can I buy a unit with points at the hills and have 9900 points?. If so I pay 2 mf's and only 1 membership fee to shell? Talk to the sale people at the ridge and they are adiment that points can not be transfered.

Just saw your post and wanted to offer you some information on Shell Vacations Club.
If you do decide to purchase a unit at Carriage Hills, the points would be transferable to your existing 5250 points. Carriage Hills is part of the Shell Vacation Club which means that your points are transferable. You would then have 2 contracts which means you would have 2 Maintenance Fee's. Regarding the Membership Fee, I believe you would only owe 1 Membership Fee, but this is something I would confirm with their Members Desk. They'll be able to answer this question for you.
