Starwood is opening new Properties in Osaka (Japan), Tianjin (China) and Bangkok (Thailand). Covering ground in the Asia Pacific, the St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is setting up shop in an untapped territory. This is a move that will quadruple the brand’s portfolio in the far east! Operated by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT), the new St. Regis properties will be the brand’s first hotels in Japan and Thailand. The new resorts are scheduled to open between 2009 and 2011.
