This forum has several moderators ("mods" for short). A moderator is a forum member with certain administrative privileges and responsibilities. These folks help keep the forum running smoothly, and can help solve problems related to forum maintenance. Sometimes we may move forum threads to other categories - in some cases we may feel that, for instance, a post about timeshare in Las Vegas would get more attention under the category heading of "
Western US (including Alaska)" rather than
General Discussion. When this happens, please don't take it personally. Our goal is to maintain a safe and well-organized forum, not to needlessly antagonize people.
If we find out that someone is using a forum account for
trolling,
spamming,
being rude to other members, or otherwise abusing our hospitality, moderators will act accordingly. We reserve the right to edit any post, delete any post, and in the cases of particularly severe infractions, ban or delete accounts. Fortunately most people won't have to worry about this.
